How to Play Solitaire (Klondike Rules)

Solitaire (specifically the Klondike variation) is the world's most popular single-player card game. Whether you are playing with a physical deck of cards or on our app, the rules remain the same. Here is a quick guide on how to play and win.

The Objective of the Game

The goal of Solitaire is simple: you must move all 52 cards into the four empty Foundation piles at the top of the screen. Each foundation pile represents one suit (Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, Spades) and must be built in ascending order, starting with the Ace and ending with the King.

To uncover the hidden cards and move them to the foundation, you must follow these rules:

Drawing Cards

When you are stuck, tap the Stockpile to draw new cards. Depending on your settings, you will either draw 1 card at a time or 3 cards at a time. If you cycle through the entire stockpile, you can reset it and go through it again.
