Neon Mode: The Ultimate Speed Challenge
For decades, Solitaire has been a slow, relaxing, thoughtful game. You could stare at the board for ten minutes contemplating your next move. We decided to change that.
Welcome to Neon Mode—a cyberpunk twist on classic Klondike Solitaire designed to test your reflexes, pattern recognition, and ability to perform under pressure.
What is the 15-Second Rule?
In Neon Mode, the traditional rules of Klondike Solitaire still apply, but there is a major catch: You only have 15 seconds to make a valid move.
From the moment you deal the cards, a neon timer bar begins to deplete at the top of your screen. Every time you make a successful move (moving a card in the tableau, placing a card in the foundation, or drawing from the deck), the timer resets back to 15 seconds. If that timer hits zero, it's instant Game Over.
Do you have what it takes?
Only 15% of players can beat a full game on Neon Mode. Are your reflexes fast enough? Download the app to find out.

Playing on a timer completely changes your strategy. Here are a few tips to survive:
- Rely on Instinct: Don't over-analyze the board. If you see an obvious move (like a red 5 onto a black 6), take it immediately to reset your timer and buy yourself breathing room.
- Use the Stockpile to Survive: Drawing a card from the stockpile counts as a move and resets your clock! If the timer is at 3 seconds and you can't find a move in the tableau, tap the deck immediately to stay alive.
- Scan for Aces First: The second the game starts, look for Aces. Moving them to the foundation early clears the board and gives you instant momentum.
Why Play Neon Mode?
Neon mode is perfect for players who want a quick, adrenaline-fueled match during a short commute or break. It transforms a casual pastime into a legitimate brain-training exercise, forcing you to process visual information faster with every game.
