The stacking rule stays the same — any card can rest on the next rank up — but only same-suit runs move together and only same-suit K-to-A runs leave the board. That single change transforms the game: now every off-suit placement is a temporary compromise you'll need to unwind.

Strategy That Actually Matters Here

1. Prefer same-suit builds. A same-suit stack is an asset you can relocate; an off-suit stack is furniture until you dig it apart.
2. Use off-suit moves to flip cards. Revealing a face-down card or opening a column is usually worth an off-suit debt.
3. Work toward one clean suit per column. Dedicating columns to a suit makes runs assemble themselves in the endgame.
4. Never deal onto chaos. Before tapping the stock, tidy what you can — the new row buries all ten columns.
